MY DESIGN
KAGI JEWELLERY
Arguably my first baby Kagi (pronounced Car-gee) specialised in versatile designer jewellery that made women feel elegant and unique. Over my 14 years with the brand I designed over 14,000 designs and was lucky to share our message of empowerment to women all across Australasia.
Every Kagi design used a combination of real pearls, gems and sparkling zirconia's and I would travel the world (often with my mumma) to source new gems every year. What an amazing ride it was with some travel stories you couldn't even dream up (like dance busking on the streets of China or being mobbed in India at the colour festival or my mum's chair collapsing at the pearl market and whole bags upon bags of pearls being spilled onto the floor.)
Kagi was a fabulous brand with real heart I literally built it from my kitchen table to 7 figure sales.
I sold the brand in 2018 to focus on being a handson Mumma to my then 2 toddlers - arguably one of the hardest decisions of my life but in hindsight the right one. It was an amazing journey (picture a rocket ship shooting to the moon with no handbook!) that forced me to grow into the woman that I am today.
One of the things I am most proud of is our partnership with the Child Cancer Foundation. Through the HOPE Collection we were able to raise over $30,000 for the charity as they helped to support kids and their families affected by cancer.
Here is snapshot of some of my favourite KAGI designs and moments over the years (used with permission by Kagi ltd)

HOPE COLLECTION - CHILD CANCER FOUNDATION PARTNERSHIP
We teamed up with the Child Cancer Foundation to create a range of HOPE Acorns. These Pendants and Ear Charms were available in light blue, black, silver and carried the message of little drops of hope, love and support. Through this partnership we were able to raise over $30,000 for the charity and I witnessed firsthand the bravery of the children and the what wonderful work the Child Cancer Foundation do in supporting them and their families.
We were also able to host the children and their mums to make unique bracelets for their Mum's one Mothers Day - it was such a heartwarming and moving experience to see these kids create keepsakes for their mums. A little rainbow in their clouds for what would have been such a difficult period in their lives.

MUMMY MUGS
Me and a group of local Christchurch mums teamed up to create Mummy Mugs - handmade ceramic mugs made with mums in mind. We are mums on a mission to encourage other mums to take a moment of mindfulness each day to enjoy a cuppa. In the madness that can sometimes be parenting its easy to lose yourself and not take time for yourself. As mums ourselves who have all experienced our own postnatal journeys we wanted to share the message that its okay to put your oxygen mask on first. We are giving proceeds to both our local kindy and in support of Mums mental health to Plunket NZ.
Each mug is handmade using local beach sand and hand glazed. See www.mummymugs.com
